"SP "Soyuzryba" LLC

The joint Russian-Belarusian venture "Soyuzryba" was established in 2014. The company employs about 50 people.

The company is engaged in fishing and processing of fish in the Northwest region of the Russian Federation, in the waters of the Barents, Norwegian and Baltic Seas. The main fish species caught in the Barents Sea are cod and haddock; catfish, flounder, American plaice, redfish and others can be found in by-catch. Sprat and Baltic herring are caught in the Baltic Sea.

In 2016, the company acquired and modernized a fishing vessel, which is now called ‘Brest’. The vessel is equipped with modern fishing equipment and high-tech fishing methods are used. There are also filleting, freezing and cold storage facilities onboard the vessel. For greater efficiency, the vessel factory was renewed, and modern refrigeration equipment was installed. Canned "Cod liver", which is produced directly onboard from chilled raw materials, is sold in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
